2010 Block of the Month

Welcome to our new 2010 block of the Month!  Kathy Brigham has designed yet another stunning quilt for us.  We had so much fun with the design that we are offering it in two different styles - one in those gorgeous batiks that we can’t resist, and one in a beautiful new collection from Alex Anderson featuring blues, greens, yellow and touches of aqua and lavender.

             Beginning in January, each month you will receive enough fabric to complete one 18" block and 8 Flying Geese units for the middle border.  We will also have kits available for the first and third borders and the second border corner squares. 

            Although not necessary for constructing the blocks and border units, we are strongly recommending use of the “Flying Geese x 4" No Math Ruler.  Using the technique described with this tool allows you to make 4 Flying Geese at one time - a real time saver for this fabulous quilt top!

Please be aware that we will limit sign-ups for this Block-of-the-Month.  The instructions and January's fabric kits will be available only through the end of February!

If so, join us for Pfaff Owners Classes!
Learn how to make the most of your wonderful Pfaff!  Marilyn Spicer will instruct participants on different Pfaff features every month. 
When?  Generally the last Saturday of every month, from 10AM - 12Noon
Class Fee: zilch, nada, nothing!
Additional Info:  The only requirements are:  Participants must:  1) Register in advance, as class space is limited.; 2) Own a Pfaff and use it during class; and, 3) Purchase the kit associated with the class of the month.
