I scream, you scream, we ALL scream for Ice Cream!

Quilter's Corner will have an "Ice Cream Social" for all of the International Intrigue Mystery Quilt participants on Sunday, September 14, at 2PM.  Please bring your quilts - regardless of how much or how little you've completed - so we can admire your creations!

Kids Camp

Quilter's Corner is hosting a "Summer Camp" for kids 12 years old and over during the third week in July (July 14 through July 18) from 9AM - 12Noon.  Planned projects include pajama pants, a pillow case, and if there's time, a fun, kid-themed pillow.  We still need to finalize the details, but if your young person is interested, please be sure to sign up soon as we're limiting the class size to 4 students.  Cost: $85 (registration fee) + materials.  

Friday Night Mystery!

Quilter's Corner is now offering a Friday Night Mystery session from 6PM - 9PM on the third Friday of every month from September through January, led by the very dynamic Kathy Keough.  So join us as we solve the Day Dreamer mystery!

Dates:  Friday evenings, from 6PM to 9PM:  Sept 19, Oct 17, Nov 21, Dec 19, Jan 16.
Instructor:  Kathy Keough
Cost:  $90
Additional Info:  Cost includes pattern.  Kathy will meet with participants prior to the first session to help you select your fabrics.

2008 Shop Hop

This year's Shop Hop begins Friday, November 7, and runs through Monday, November 10.  Grab a few friends and plan a mini road trip!  Not only is it a GREAT excuse to check out the new offerings in the participating shops, but the prizes are phenomenal!

Give a sick child a smile!  Cindy Kerr started making pillowcases for her son, Ryan, when he was in chemotherapy.  It always brought a smile when she pulled out a new one before each treatment.  She started making them for other kids, and can't keep up.  You can help by making and donating a pillowcase for a child with cancer or life-changing illness.  Quilter's Corner has many fun fabrics from which to choose, and we will discount by 15% your purchase of fabric for constructing these pillowcases.  And, for the very busy quilter, we've made kits out of coordinating fabrics to simplify the process!  Pick up a kit during your next visit, and drop it off to us when completed.  We'll take care of the rest!
